Penetration Level 1 — Low

Best Weapons for Wallbanging
If your goal is to deal maximum damage through walls, prioritize weapons with high penetration power and high base damage. The AWP is the undisputed king of wallbangs with penetration level 3 and 115 base damage, capable of killing through most bangable surfaces. For rifles, the AK-47, M4A4, and M4A1-S all have penetration level 2 and are effective through medium surfaces. Among pistols, only the Desert Eagle and R8 Revolver can penetrate medium surfaces.

Knowing where surfaces are thin enough to wallbang is key. Common spots include mid doors on Dust2 (AWP through double doors), banana on Inferno (through wooden walls), and various spots on Mirage where thin walls connect bombsites to connector areas.
